Priorities of the week
To ensure financing of public broadcasting in the State Budget – 2017 to the fullest extent provided by law – at the level of 1,28 billion UAH.
To reject the draft law No. 4370-1 which suspends the civil service reform in part of appointment of heads of local state administrations, contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine, and leads to the usurpation of authority by the President.
The aim of the draft law is to de-shadow currency exchange operations and optimize currency regulation and currency exchange policy to ensure currency stability through abolishing the pension fee during the purchase of foreign currency and cancelling the requirement to show a passport in the course of such transactions.
The goal of the draft law is to ensure transparency, openness and accountability of government agencies, early detection and prevention of acts that constitute damage or threat to the public interests, including corruption and other offenses, enforcement of rights and effective protection of whistleblowers freedom of media activities, and protection of the freedom of speech.
