Overview of Democratic Institutions in Ukraine During Wartime. Recommendations

Last week, Democracy Reporting International Ukraine, in cooperation with the Reanimation Package of Reforms Coalition and the Centre of Policy and Legal Reform, presented the report “Overview of Ukraine’s Democratic Institutions During Wartime.”

Key point: despite the war, the Parliament, Government, judiciary, and local self-government continue to function. The media maintain pluralism, and civil society retains its ability to influence decision-making.

The report offers an expert analysis of the core institutions of democracy — and we are ready to share key recommendations to help strengthen them.
