Cabinet of Ministers Approves Reform Roadmaps — The Ball Is Now in the EU’s Court

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Roadmaps for transformations in the rule of law, public administration reform, and the functioning of democratic institutions. The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine announced this.

These roadmaps are part of the EU’s negotiation framework for Ukraine. The next step is for the European Union to adopt them to launch the fundamental cluster of accession negotiations.

The RPR Coalition team welcomes the government’s move!

Olga Lymar, Executive Director of the Coalition, commented: “An important milestone on Ukraine’s European integration path is the adoption of three roadmaps: rule of law, public administration reform, and democratic institutions. We thank the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine – Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna and her team for their openness and willingness to cooperate by engaging civil society organizations in the negotiation (working) groups. During these group sessions, we had the opportunity to present and advocate for including RPR Coalition’s recommendations in the roadmaps.”

The ball is now in the EU’s court — and we will continue to keep you informed on the latest developments in Ukraine’s European integration journey!
