The draft law would:
1) increase the bail for persons suspected or accused of committing a grave or especially grave corruption crime to five – ten amounts of financial damage
2) forbid the investigating judge at the court ruling decreeing a preventive measure in the form of detention custody to determine the amount of bail in criminal proceedings against the person who in these proceedings has been given a preventive measure in the form of bail, but has violated it;
3) oblige the investigating judge of the court in the case of preventive measures, non-detention in custody and preventive measure of detention with bail determination on persons suspected or accused of committing a grave or especially grave corruption crime under any circumstances to oblige the suspect or the accused to submit their passport (passports) to travel abroad and other documents that give the right to leave and enter Ukraine to the relevant public authorities and to wear an electronic means of control.
