The draft law proposes to:
– settle the issue of the appointment of prosecutors, including local and regional appointments.
– resolve several other issues related to the recruitment of prosecutors, appointment to administrative positions, functioning of the prosecutorial authorities, etc. The draft law also establishes the maximum strength of the prosecution system at the level of 10,000 people which is consistent with the average European indicators, and provides for the optimization of regional bodies and the cancellation of the general supervision function.
