The objectives of the draft law is to harmonize the laws and regulations with the EU requirements concerning:
• ingredients and waste products of tobacco goods including maximum levels of tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke;
• labeling and packaging of tobacco products, including health warnings to be placed on packets of tobacco products and any outside packaging;
• regulation of certain products related to tobacco products such as electronic cigarettes and their containers filling, as well as herbal products for smoking;
• ban on tobacco advertising on the Internet.
