The draft law proposes to shift some powers from the Commission on the election of the head of NABU to the parliament, in particular, regarding the submission of new candidates and the terms of competition, which creates prerequisites to delay appointment of NABU Chairperson and might put pressure on the Commission to choose a “convenient” head of NABU.
