General Meeting of the RPR Coalition: renewed Board, new partners and annual reports

Renewed Board, new member organizations and annual reports – the Reanimation Package of Reforms Coalition held a regular General Meeting of the Union. We share the key results of the Meeting in this article.

Two organizations, long-time partners of the Coalition, joined the Coalition and will strengthen the team’s work on Ukraine’s European integration.

The Institute for Central European Strategy was founded in 2019. The organization operates on the principle of a “think tank & do tank” and aims to conceptualize and advocate for a new strategy for Ukraine in Central Europe to consolidate this geopolitical region within the EU and NATO.

The Ukrainian Center for European Policy is an independent think tank and policy development center founded in 2015. The Center’s mission is to promote reforms in Ukraine for sustainable economic growth and open society in partnership with institutions at all levels.

The Meeting also voted for the renewed composition of the Board

The Coalition Council is a permanent governing body of the Union. The Council is elected by the General Meeting of at least 9 people for a term of 1 year by ranked voting from among the candidates proposed for election by the full members of the Union.

The Coalition Council is co-chaired by Igor Burakovsky, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, and Yuliia Kyrychenko, Member of the Board of the Center for Political and Legal Reforms.

Finally, the RPR Coalition presented its reports for 2023 and 2024, which can be found here. Last year, the RPR Coalition celebrated its tenth anniversary as the most stable coalition and one of the most influential civil society organizations.

The year 2024 has once again proved that only together we can make changes in the country on a democratic, European path.

“Civil society should not only be an association of like-minded people, not only carry the spirit of the Revolution of Dignity, but also be a professional partner of the state, capable of providing quality support in implementing reforms. In the future, the RPR Coalition will continue to work on advocating for reforms, supporting EU integration and strengthening democratic institutions,” says Olga Lymar, the RPR Executive Director.

Dozens of events and discussions, advocacy of the most important legislative initiatives, projects with hundreds of thousands of people reached – all this is about the RPR Coalition in 2024.

With new partners and a strengthened Board, we will work together for reforms in 2025!
