On February 20, 2017, the coalition of non-governmental organizations “The Reanimation Package of Reforms” started implementing RPR’s regional cooperation program. The major goal of this process is to facilitate establishment and functioning of local initiatives (coalitions) and to monitor and implement reforms on a local level.
Through implementation of its regional strategy, the Reanimation Package of Reforms is planning to share the methodology and standards of work of the coalition, facilitate coalition activities, strengthen horizontal ties on a local level, and direct the efforts to tackle local issues. This cooperation should result, first and foremost, in an effective cooperation between the RPR and the local coalitions to settle the local problems.
In particular, the RPR has the following objectives:
Within the regional cooperation, the RPR Secretariat will also facilitate establishment of contacts between local civil coalitions and donors.
The Reanimation Package of Reforms is planning to support the existing local coalitions or groups of NGOs which intend to unite into a platform. The RPR is not planning to establish coalitions or try to manage or impose its goals and methods of work onto other associations.
Regional activities of the RPR are supported by Omidiyar.
