RPR Coalition calls on deputies to eliminate corruption in property valuation by passing bill No. 2047-d

Since the end of 2018, the Reanimation Reform Package Coalition has advocated the elimination of the corruption scheme of electronic intermediary platforms in the field of real estate valuation.

Now everyone, when selling or donating real estate, pays UAH 1,800 additionally to four private monopoly sites. Formally, this is necessary for registering information from the valuation report in the Unified State Database of the State Property Fund. Previously, such registration was carried out by valuers free of charge and without intermediaries.

Corruption sites de facto only transmit information via email, but the price for this is determined at their own discretion. All expenses are passed on to consumers of services – citizens. Ukrainians have already spent about 1 billion UAH on these sites.

In order to overcome the corruption scheme, the RPR Coalition experts joined in the development of a bill amending the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the elimination of the corruption scheme in the field of registration of information from property valuation reports (No. 2047). It is finalized by the Committee and is proposed to deputies under the number 2047-d.

The interests of the state and all Ukrainians require the immediate destruction of this corruption scheme of intermediary sites.

The Reanimation Reform Package coalition calls on the deputies of all parliamentary factions to adopt draft law No. 2047-d in the first reading. And also take into account amendments from public experts when considering the bill in the second reading.
