The draft law defines that respect for the memory of the victory over Nazism in World War II, the war veterans, Ukrainian liberation movement and victims of Nazism is the sacred duty of the state and the citizens of Ukraine. It is proposed to celebrate annually on May 8 the Memorial and Reconciliation Day, paying tribute to all the victims of World War II. Also, the draft law defines the main forms of celebrating the victory over Nazism and commemorating the victims of World War II.
