There is more than a month and a half left to the presidential election day. However, it’s already obvious that: at the presidential campaign, instead of meaningful competition of the electoral programs, we can see a competition of manipulative political technologies.
And this complicates the conscious choice for citizens. Ukrainians face a difficult challenge: how to continue moving towards European Ukraine avoiding the traps of populism and the threat of revenge.
Coalition of NGOs the Reanimation Package of Reforms wants to help Ukrainians make informed decisions by drawing their attention to the content of electoral programs.
To this end, RPR has invited presidential candidates to participate in an open discussion on the reform agenda for Ukraine.
The purpose of the event is to publicly discuss the goals of reforms in the key areas of government policy with the presidential candidates. In particular, representatives of the public will present the proposals of the RPR Coalition on the priorities of reforms for Ukraine.
The candidates with the highest trust rating who have the pro-Ukrainian position in the war with Russia and whose political forces are represented in the Parliament are invited to participate in the discussion.
These are Petro Poroshenko, Yuliia Tymoshenko, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Anatolii Hrytsenko, Oleh Liashko, Andrii Sadovyi.
We hope that despite the tight schedule of the election campaign, the candidates will participate in the discussion themselves or, at least, delegate the representatives of their team.
