Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the discussion of the Concept of the Reform of the Healthсare System Financing, which will be held on February 18, 2016 at 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. in the office of Reanimation Package of Reforms (6, Olhyns`ka str., of. 21, Kyiv).
This Concept proposes practical steps to be taken during 2016-2020 for the reform of Ukrainian healthcare system financing and for healthcare system reform in general. New modern system of healthcare financing provides clear state guarantees of medical care, better financial protection for citizens in case of illness, efficient and equitable distribution of public resources and reduction of informal payments.
This document was developed based on the “Strategy of Healthсare Reform in Ukraine for 2015-2020” by the Healthcare Ministry working group and published in early February. During February the Ministry plans to hold a broad public discussion of the proposed Concept.
The Concept will be presented by the working group members. Representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance and the Committee on Public Health of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, chief doctors, medical workers, experts, representatives of Ukrainian NGOs, patient organizations, and international institutions.
